Beho Beho

A family-owned lodge set on high ground above the Rufiji floodplain rather than on the river itself, which gives it the breezes its Swahili name refers to. Its own site describes eight stone-and-thatch bandas, some with private plunge pools, plus a separate private villa. It runs walking safaris and drives, and suits travellers looking for a small, quiet, house-like property in the north of the park. Closed mid-March to the end of May.
