A lodge on Likoma Island in the north-east of Lake Malawi, operated by Green Safaris and built into the rocks and sand of a bay on the island's south-western shore. Accommodation is in individually designed rooms and houses, some with private decks and plunge pools, and the lodge runs on renewable energy. Reaching it needs a flight or the lake ferry, so it suits travellers making the island a deliberate multi-night stop. Closed early January to the end of March.
