Addo Elephant National Park
Hundreds of elephants in malaria-free bush, an hour from Gqeberha.
About
Addo began as a last refuge for eleven elephants and now holds hundreds, in thick spekboom bush that makes for close sightings at the waterholes. The park is malaria-free, which makes it the easy Big Five option for families, and it has grown to run from the Karoo down to a marine section with Cape gannets and southern right whales offshore.
