Blyde River Canyon
A green canyon on the edge of the escarpment, above the lowveld.
About
The Blyde river has cut one of the largest green canyons in the world through the Drakensberg escarpment, and the Panorama Route runs along its rim past God's Window, the Three Rondavels and the potholes at Bourke's Luck. It is the standard first or last leg of a Kruger trip, and the drop from highveld to lowveld happens in a single morning.
Highlights
- Three Rondavels viewpoint
- Bourke's Luck Potholes
- God's Window
- Lisbon and Berlin falls
