Chobe National Park
The largest elephant concentration in Africa, along a single river.
About
Chobe's riverfront draws elephant in numbers seen nowhere else on the continent — herds come down to the water in their hundreds through the late dry season, and a boat on the Chobe river puts you level with them. Buffalo, hippo, crocodile and predators follow the same water. The park runs inland to the Savuti marsh, known for lion prides that hunt elephant, and the Linyanti wetlands.
