About
The Gulf of Tadjoura draws juvenile whale sharks into its plankton-rich bays between roughly November and February, and snorkelling with them is the country's signature trip. The same water holds coral reefs and the Seven Brothers islands at the mouth of the Bab-el-Mandeb, and boats run from Djibouti City and the old port town of Tadjoura.
