Kalandula Falls
One of Africa's largest waterfalls, in a curtain over a hundred metres high.
About
The Lucala river drops in a wide horseshoe at Kalandula, one of the biggest falls on the continent by volume and almost unvisited by outsiders. The viewpoint on the rim looks straight across the curtain, and a steep path goes down to the spray at the bottom. The Pungo Andongo rock formations are an easy detour on the same trip from Malanje.
