Lower Zambezi
Canoe past elephants on the Zambezi, with the escarpment behind you.
About
The Lower Zambezi faces Mana Pools across the river in Zimbabwe, and the two together protect a long stretch of floodplain beneath a steep escarpment. Canoeing is the signature activity — drifting downstream past elephant crossing between islands and hippo pods that you learn to read and give room. Tiger fishing, walking safaris and game drives fill out the rest.
