Matobo Hills
Balancing granite boulders, San rock art and one of Africa's best rhino walks.
About
The Matobo Hills are a landscape of granite domes and balancing rocks that has been sacred for centuries, holding thousands of San rock paintings in its caves and shelters. The national park has a strong white rhino population that is tracked on foot, and Rhodes's grave sits on the summit of Malindidzimu, the "hill of the spirits".
