Sindou Peaks
A ridge of narrow sandstone spires walked between on foot.
About
The Sindou Peaks are a wind-cut chain of sandstone fins and cones near Banfora in the south-west, and the walk threads between them through gaps barely shoulder-width. The surrounding region is the greenest part of the country, with the Karfiguéla waterfalls, sugarcane plains and Lake Tengrela's hippos within a short drive.
Highlights
- Walking the rock chain
