Tsavo East & West
Kenya's biggest wilderness — red elephants, lava flows and spring-fed pools.
About
Tsavo East and West together form one of the largest protected areas in Africa, split by the Nairobi–Mombasa road and railway. East is flat, dry and open, with elephants stained red by the dust; West is greener and more dramatic, with the Shetani lava flow, the Chyulu Hills and the crystal springs at Mzima where hippo can be watched from an underwater chamber.
