About
The White Desert is a plateau of chalk eroded into pale, improbable shapes that glow at dusk and look like ice in the moonlight. Most trips run from Bahariya Oasis by 4x4, taking in the black volcanic hills of the Black Desert and the crystal outcrops on the way, then camping in the open among the formations.
