Wli falls drops in two stages down a forested cliff alive with fruit bats, and the lower fall is an easy walk through the Agumatsa reserve while the upper takes a steep couple of hours. The Volta region around it — Mount Afadja, the Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary, Lake Volta itself — is Ghana's hill-walking and homestay country.
