Yankari covers savanna woodland in Bauchi State and holds Nigeria's most significant surviving elephant population, along with baboon, waterbuck and hippo in the Gaji river. The Wikki Warm Spring flows clear at a steady 31°C and is open for swimming day and night, which is how most visitors end a day of game drives.
