After a busy few months I needed somewhere quiet. Bunyonyi was exactly that.

Mornings were mist on the water and tea on the deck. Afternoons, I took a dugout canoe out between the islands — slow, a little wobbly, and very peaceful.

The hosts cooked incredible food and told us stories about each island. No schedule, no traffic. Just the lake.
